Triumph Motorcycles has officially revealed the all-new Trident 800, a naked middleweight roadster positioned above the Trident 660. The new model introduces a more powerful triple-cylinder engine, updated chassis, and enhanced technology to take on the middleweight naked motorcycle segment.
At the heart of the Trident 800 is a 798cc triple-cylinder engine producing 115 PS at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine features a twist-forged crankshaft, new camshaft and balancer, and high-compression pistons. Power is delivered through a 6-speed gearbox with Triumph Shift Assist, allowing clutchless up and down shifts.

The bike features a lightweight chassis paired with adjustable Showa suspension—41 mm upside-down forks at the front and a rear monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment. Braking duties are handled by twin 310 mm discs with four-piston radial calipers, while Michelin tyres help maintain grip and agility.

In terms of technology, the Trident 800 is equipped with three riding modes—Road, Sport, and Rain—along with lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control. A 3.5-inch TFT display provides access to the My Triumph Bluetooth system, which supports music, calls, and navigation. The model also includes cruise control and an all-LED lighting system.

Design-wise, the Trident 800 follows a stripped-back, muscular look with a sculpted 14-litre tank, compact tail section, and short upswept silencer. Colour options include Ash Grey with Diablo Red, Carnival Red with Graphite, and Jet Black, complemented by gold-finished alloy wheels.

The Trident 800 is expected to sit between the Trident 660 and the Street Triple 765 in Triumph’s global line-up. More details, including market availability and pricing, are expected to follow.
